What a glorious day for Sunday football where the Arrows played a return fixture at home against Hadley Wood and Wingate Herons.
With a full squad for the first time in months, the boys were determined to top the 7-0 score line the last time the two teams met.
Our passing was solid, from defence through to midfield. A brilliantly struck Yash Patel corner resulted in Dylan Berger (1) burying the ball to give us an early lead.
Moments later George Wainright worked the ball around the midfielder, and a well-timed pass to Oli Bloom (1) inside the box lead to another goal.
The second half and the boys continued where they left off, Louis Rosenberg (1) got on the score sheet with the help from another sensational George Wainwright run.
The goals kept coming, our leading goal scorer Jack Skinner (4), scored a penalty and 3 further goals for the team.
In the final minutes, we switched the boys around outside of their natural positions, which gave defender Tom Howarth the opportunity to score (1), followed soon after by another goal from some skilful George Wainwright (1) footwork. Special mentions to Josh Levenstein and Elliot Scott for some great passing and tackling.
At the final whistle, the score was 9-0 to the Arrows ! Man of the man goes to George Wainright for dominating the midfield, making 3 assists, and getting on the score sheet.
