Aldenham Arrows played an away fixture to Harvesters North. This was a very high tempo game, and the quality of passing by both teams was exemplary. The first half saw the Arrows pile on the pressure, and after winning 3 corners, Yash Patel managed to bag us an own goal to to give us a 1-0 lead into half time. The second half started and we continued where we left off; there were shots on target by Oli Bloom, George Wainright, Louis Rosenberg, Jack Skinner, Tom Howarth, Josh Levenstein, but credit to Harvesters goal-keeper who made a handful of spectacular saves to keep the score line to a minimum. As the final minutes of the game were approaching, Harvesters lobbed our goal-keeper from just over the half way line to even up the score.
All boys played their hearts out today, and provided end to end entertainment for the spectators. At the final whistle, the score ended 1-1.
Man of the match this week goes to Yash Patel for an overall quality performance and for being an all-round team player.
