Open trials 2017-2018 season – U18s
For boys currently in Year 11 and 12 going into Years 12 and 13 in September 2017 who will be 16 or over on 31 August 2017.
A first trial will take place on Sunday 9th April 2017 starting at 2.30 pm and finishing at 4.00pm. Please arrive no later than 2.00pm. A Second trial if required will take place on a date yet to be fixed.
Please come to: Queen’s School Aldenham Road, Bushey, Herts WD23 2TY
Queen’s is on two sites opposite each other either side of the road. Coming from the Costco roundabout you want to turn right into the school site (opposite The Metropolitan Police Ground/Power League) and park.
Our pitch is on the far left hand side of the school – so you want to walk along the front of the school and then walk along the side – there is an opening on the left and you will see pitches in front of you.
We will be on the Pitch beyond the tree line which is below the dip in the ground closest to the leisure centre.
For the 2017/18 season we will only be selecting quality players who are willing to show commitment and dedication to training regularly, improving their footballing skills and have the passion and interest in making sure football is the most important activity they pursue in their spare time.
If selected for the team you will be required to attend practice sessions of one and a half hours at least once a week (probably on Tuesday evenings) and be available for selection for league games to play on Sundays. Pre-season training will start in August 2017.
Training takes place with a fully qualified FA accredited coach on Astroturf at the Hertswood Centre in Borehamwood. Home games are played on grass at Queens School in Bushey.
Player registration to include all the training for the 2017/18 season is £280 per player.
If you wish to register to attend the trial please e-mail: email@example.com with a completed registration form.
If you have been unable to pre-register for the trials please ensure that you arrive no later than 2.00pm to register on the day.
Please remember to bring with you shin pads (these are compulsory and you will not be allowed to play if you do not have them);
